Structural Engineer

Overview Perunding Muhandis Sdn Bhd is seeking a Structural Engineer for its head office in Kuching. The role involves structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures in compliance with local codes and standards. Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural design and project coordination. 3. Proficient in Prota Structure. 4. Foundation in structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures. 5. Familiar with local building codes and authority submission processes. 6. Knowledge in Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an added advantage. 7. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, good communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Must be proficient in operating structural design software such as Prota Structure. Responsibilities 1. Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures in compliance with local codes and standards. 2. Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports for submission to relevant authorities. 3. Coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure design intent is met. 4. Review and check drawings prepared by drafters to ensure accuracy and compliance. 5. Attend project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss design progress and resolve technical matters. 6. Assist in site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction. Location Kuching, Sarawak
