Site Supervisor

Overview Sarabest Engineering Sdn Bhd is a Sarawak-based construction company incorporated in 2022 and registered as a CIDB Grade G7 contractor. The company specializes in building construction, civil engineering, and selected mechanical and electrical works, serving clients across residential, commercial, and light civil infrastructure sectors. We are looking for a C&S Site Supervisor to monitor day-to-day civil and structural operations on-site in Selangau. Acting as a bridge between the engineering design team and the on-site labor force, this role ensures structural integrity and strict compliance with safety frameworks. Requirements 1. Strong technical knowledge of structural concrete, steelwork, earthworks, and standard local building codes. 2. Ability to monitor day-to-day civil and structural operations on-site and act as a liaison between the design team and site workforce. Responsibilities 1. Direct daily structural works including earthworks, piling, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, structural steel erection, and brickwork. 2. Verify that all works execution strictly adheres to the approved construction drawings, method statements, and contract specifications. 3. Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, including concrete slump tests and rebar grading, to ensure only approved materials are used. 4. Identify structural defects or non-conformance issues and report them immediately to the project engineer for rectification. 5. Coordinate subcontractors and workers to maintain the target construction schedule and prevent trades from overlapping or conflicting. 6. Liaise with external entities including resident engineers, architectural supervisors, M&E teams, and client representatives. 7. Attend technical site meetings to clear design ambiguities and resolve structural implementation challenges. Location Selangau, Sarawak
