Site Supervisor (C & S) - Kapit Song

Overview The Site Supervisor (C & S) monitors day-to-day civil and structural operations on-site, acting as the bridge between the engineering design team and the on-site labor force. The role ensures structural integrity and compliance with safety frameworks, requiring strong technical knowledge of structural concrete, steelwork, earthworks, and local building codes. Responsibilities 1. Direct daily structural works including earthworks, piling, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel erection, and brickwork. 2. Verify that all works execution adheres to approved construction drawings, method statements, and contract specifications. 3. Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, such as concrete slump tests and rebar grading, to ensure only approved materials are used. 4. Identify structural defects or non-conformance issues and report them immediately to the project engineer for rectification. 5. Coordinate subcontractors and workers to maintain the target construction schedule and prevent trade conflicts. 6. Liaise with resident engineers, architectural supervisors, M&E teams, and client representatives. 7. Attend technical site meetings to clear design ambiguities and resolve structural implementation challenges. Location Kapit Song, Sarawak
