Overview
Assist the Construction Manager with daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors, workers and suppliers to ensure smooth progress. Based in Kuching, the role may require outstation travel when necessary.
Requirements
1. Minimum SPM / STPM, Diploma or Degree in Civil, Construction, Building, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
2. Fresh graduates are welcome; work experience in civil, road or other infrastructure projects will be advantageous.
3. Able to work independently and to work extended hours.
4. Good communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the Construction Manager in daily site operations.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, workers and suppliers to ensure smooth progress.
3. Monitor work quality and verify that work complies with BQ, drawings, specifications and standards.
4. Prepare daily site reports covering progress, manpower, material quantities and site issues.
5. Record activities and maintain documentation.
6. Monitor site materials, including delivery usage and storage.
7. Attend site inspections and assist in resolving technical and site issues.
