Overview
An established company is seeking a committed and proactive HSE officer to join its team. The role is based in Kuching, Sarawak, with travel throughout Malaysia.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant HSE experience.
3. Registered or eligible for registration with DOSH as a Safety and Health Officer (SHO) is an advantage.
4. Willing to travel and work at project sites throughout Malaysia.
Responsibilities
1. Implement and monitor the company's HSE policies and procedures at project sites.
2. Ensure site operations comply with statutory regulations, including DOSH and client HSE requirements.
3. Conduct site safety inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions.
4. Conduct daily toolbox meetings, site risk assessments (HIRARC / JHA), and safety inductions for site personnel.
5. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports.
6. Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and other safety documentation.
7. Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by the company.
8. Working Days.
9. Monday to Saturday.
