Overview
We are looking for an independent, self-driven team player to join our company as Site Foreman/Supervisor in the Kuching area. This role requires strong understanding of construction principles and the ability to manage multiple projects through the full construction lifecycle.
Requirements
1. Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineer or related field.
2. Minimum three (3) years of experience, preferably in construction of property development industry.
3. Strong understanding of construction principles, techniques, and materials.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
6. Must have own transport (CAR) and a valid motor car driving license.
7. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Basic Mandarin is a must.
8. Experience with projects through the full construction life cycle with multiple projects.
Responsibilities
1. Able to understand architectural, civil and structural drawings.
2. Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site.
3. Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
4. Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
5. Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
6. Conduct quality assurance checks and address any issues or concerns that arise during construction.
7. Preparation of paperwork including daily site report.
8. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
