Laras Jaya Construction Sdn Bhd, a growing infrastructure and property development contractor, is looking for a proactive Site Engineer to be based in Kanowit, Sarawak. The role involves supervising daily construction activities and ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Knowledge of construction methods and engineering drawings.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
4. Possess a valid driving license and willing to work on-site.
5. At least 3 years of related field experience in civil and structural construction works.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise daily construction activities on site.
2. Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
3. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Prepare site reports, work progress reports and documentation.
6. Check and verify materials delivered to the site.
7. Attend site meetings, coordinate project activities and resolve on-site challenges as required.
