Senior Technician

Overview The Senior Technician oversees facility maintenance and security operations to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment. This role supervises maintenance activities, monitors security procedures, and coordinates with departments to support smooth daily operations. Responsibilities 1. Oversee repair and maintenance of building systems, equipment, and facilities. 2. Plan and monitor scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. 3. Supervise security activities, monitor premises, and ensure safety procedures are followed. 4. Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance issues, hazards, or security risks. 5. Respond to maintenance emergencies and security incidents promptly and effectively. 6. Guide maintenance and security personnel to ensure duties are performed properly and safely. 7. Receive, assign, and monitor completion of maintenance and security-related tasks. 8. Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures. 9. Monitor tools, spare parts, and security equipment to ensure proper availability and usage. 10. Maintain maintenance logs, incident reports, and operational records. 11. Coordinate with operations, housekeeping, and management to support daily operational needs. Requirements 1. Candidate with a Professional Certificate in Electrical, Air-Conditioning, or equivalent would be an added advantage. 2. Experience in Building Management is an added advantage. 3. Competent in writing and speaking in English and Bahasa Melayu. 4. Prior experience in security, preferably in a hotel or residence setting. 5. Physically fit and alert. 6. Good observation and reporting skills. 7. Able to handle emergency situations calmly. 8. Willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Location Kuching, Sarawak
