Senior Technical Executive (Senior Draughtsperson) / Lead Drafter

Overview Concept-P Jurutera Sdn Bhd, a civil and structural engineering consultancy, is seeking a Senior Technical Executive (Senior Draughtsperson) / Lead Drafter to lead the draughting team at its Kuching headquarters. Requirements 1. Certificate in drafting and experience in Civil & Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology or equivalent qualification. 2. Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and infrastructure drafting, preferably in an engineering consultancy environment. 3. Proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Civil 3D, InfraWorks, MiTS, Revit, Navisworks or BIM-related software will be an added advantage. 4. Experienced in preparing drawings for road, earthworks, drainage, sewerage, water supply, utilities, culverts, bridges, SUSToM-related infrastructure works and ground treatment works. 5. Able to prepare drawings for concept design, preliminary design, detailed design, authority submission, tender documentation and construction purposes. 6. Good understanding of road geometry, long sections, cross sections, platform levels, drainage layout, pipe networks, utility coordination and detailing. 7. Familiar with JKR, DID, JBALB, local authority standards, engineering drawing requirements and submission procedures. 8. Able to interpret engineers' sketches, design information, survey data and technical instructions into clear and coordinated engineering drawings. 9. Able to check drawings, identify discrepancies or clashes, and coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to resolve drawing issues. 10. Capable of leading the draughting team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress and guiding junior drafters. 11. Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 12. Responsible, organised, detail-oriented and a good team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Location Kuching, Sarawak
