Overview
BinaPuri is hiring a Safety & Health Officer to monitor Environment, Health and Safety issues on site, conduct daily toolbox meetings and ensure workers and subcontractors comply with safety requirements. The role is based in Sarawak and works Monday to Friday.
Requirements
1. Possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Environment, Safety & Health or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of related role experience as a site safety officer.
3. Equipped with a Safety Officer valid green book.
4. Basic knowledge of safety management (manufacturing) and computer works.
5. Knowledge of cleanroom aspects.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor Environment, Health and Safety issues on site and violations due to cleanroom protocol requirements of the customer's site Safety Management System.
2. Station on-site daily as per installation plan and ensure zero incidents occur.
3. Conduct on-site daily toolbox meetings before the start of planned activities.
4. Identify hazards, assess risks and implement suitable control measures to eliminate all dangers.
5. Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with both company and customer safety requirements at site.
6. Conduct daily site safety inspections and recommend corrective actions for unsafe acts of workers and rectification for unsafe conditions in all workplaces.
7. Communicate with all levels of people when there is an escalation.
8. Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by superior.
9. Working Days.
10. Monday to Friday.
