Overview
This role is based at a project site in Lawas, Sarawak, with an established engineering consultant firm in Kuching. The Resident Engineer is responsible for full-time supervision of road and bridge works and for ensuring contract deliverables are completed satisfactorily.
Requirements
1. Degree holder in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
2. 15 to 20 years of site experience in supervision of road and bridge works.
3. Minimum BEM-registered Professional Engineer.
4. Possess a valid driving license.
Responsibilities
1. Provide full-time supervision at the site.
2. Ensure contract deliverables are executed satisfactorily.
3. Monitor and control work progress.
4. Ensure the contractor's SHET and quality management are practised satisfactorily.
5. Coordinate work interfaces among all disciplines and with other contractors or consultants engaged by the client.
