Overview
The Resident Engineer (Civil & Structural) oversees daily on-site operations for structural, civil, or MEP works, while directly supervising the Inspector of Works. The role ensures quality compliance, effective contract administration, and strong stakeholder coordination on the Kapit Song project.
Requirements
1. Recognized Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
2. Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and hold a valid CIDB Green Card.
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant site and project management experience.
4. Deep familiarity with local standards and proficiency in site-based report writing.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily on-site operations for structural, civil, or MEP works and directly supervise the Inspector of Works.
2. Conduct material inspections, enforce QA/QC procedures, and address non-compliance or structural defects immediately.
3. Track project timelines, verify contractor's progress claims, and manage technical documentation.
4. Lead or attend site and technical meetings and serve as the bridge between clients, contractors, and local authorities.
