Overview We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the contractual and financial components of construction projects, including cost estimation, budgeting, procurement recommendations, contract management, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget. Requirements 1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. 2. 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in quantity surveying. 3. Good knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and procurement. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and QS software. 5. Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 6. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities 1. Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents. 2. Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis evaluations. 3. Monitor project costs and maintain cost control throughout the project lifecycle. 4. Prepare and evaluate bills of quantities (BQ) and other tender documents. 5. Provide advice on contractual claims and procurement strategies. 6. Monitor changes in design, assess the impact on cost, and update project budgets accordingly. 7. Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value. 8. Prepare interim payment applications, final accounts, and project reports. 9. Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. 10. Ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation, and quality standards. 11. Salary Range. 12. RM 3,000 - RM 4,500. Location Kuching
