The company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to be based in Kuching, Sarawak. The role involves pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties as well as liaison with consultants and contractors.
Requirements
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Familiar with Glodon TAS/TRB software.
4. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Willing to work overtime and travel outstation.
7. Candidates are to state their current and expected salary.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties such as cost estimation, procurement and tendering, tender evaluation, cashflow forecast, contract administration, variation and final accounts.
2. Liaise and coordinate with all consultants and contractors for overall work.
3. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
4. Manage the taking off of drawings for cost estimates, tender documents and related tasks.
5. Attend meetings and site evaluations as needed.
6. Assist with any ad hoc duties that may arise.
