Overview
Responsible for tender documentation, cost estimation, site valuations, and contract administration for construction projects.
Requirements
1. Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years working experience as Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
3. Competent in measurement of quantities and costing.
4. Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
5. Good communication skill.
6. Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
7. Able to work independently.
8. Computer knowledge in MS Office, technical software (CostX, Glodon, AutoCad) is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and other related documentation.
2. Establish unit rates and prepare cost estimates.
3. Prepare enquiries and obtain quotations for materials, labour, and plant.
4. Conduct site visits, perform site valuations, and prepare related reports.
5. Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
6. Prepare Interim Payment Certificates and progress claims.
7. Coordinate with internal departments to support project requirements.
8. Liaise with external consultants and stakeholders as required.
9. Maintain organised documentation and manage project-related records.
10. Assist in contract administration and day-to-day operational tasks.
11. Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment.
12. Any other duties assigned by Management.
