Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will support cost estimation and project costing for construction projects in Kuching, Sarawak. Experience in piping or pipeline works is preferred.
Requirements
1. Experience in construction, preferably in piping / pipeline works.
2. Familiar with quantity take-off, BQ and costing.
3. Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
4. Able to solve problems and take initiative.
5. Good in Microsoft Word, Excel including formulas, and able to use AI tools to improve work efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Review construction drawings and project requirements.
2. Perform quantity take-off and material calculations.
3. Prepare BQ and project costing.
4. Prepare proposed rates and supplier price comparisons.
5. Assist in project cost and QS-related matters.
