Overview Lucky-Best Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. This role involves managing cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control for civil and infrastructure projects. Requirements 1. At least a degree in Quantity Surveying. 2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry, preferably civil/infrastructure projects. 3. Strong knowledge of contract administration, tendering, and cost control. 4. Proficient in quantity take-off, BQ computation, and cost estimation. 5. Skilled in Microsoft Office and cost estimation software (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.). 6. Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. 7. Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 8. Strong time management and organisation skills. 9. Good sense of judgment and ability to make sound decisions in daily tasks. 10. Attention to detail and accurate record keeping. 11. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. 12. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate project records. 13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 14. Good command of English (written and spoken). 15. Reliable, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision. 16. Willing to travel and perform site visits as required. Responsibilities 1. Assist and support tendering process and contract management. 2. Manage progress claims, progress payment, variation orders, and final accounts for contractors and suppliers. 3. Assist in site assessment of subcontractors'/suppliers' claims and attend site meetings as required. 4. Perform quantity take-offs, project costing calculations, BQ computation, cost estimation, and cost planning. 5. Monitor project resources, costing, and project budget, and provide cost analysis and reporting. 6. Monitor overall project progress to ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications and schedule. 7. Liaise with relevant government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders. 8. Handle contractual disputes and assist in resolution processes. 9. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. 10. Perform site visits when necessary. 11. Able to travel when required. 12.
