Overview
The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality through inspections, quality management, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
1. Minimum basic degree in engineering or applied science (preferably metallurgical, material, chemical engineering, materials science).
2. At least 5 years of working experience in QC or related field.
3. Computer literate with experience in MS Excel and proficiency in CAD software.
4. Fluent in both oral and written Mandarin, English, and Malay Language.
5. Ability to work on own initiative and to meet objectives under tight deadlines.
6. Able and willing to work on shift.
Responsibilities
1. Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure adherence to standards and customer requirements.
2. Develop and maintain inspection plans, work instructions, and procedures.
3. Collect and analyze quality data, defect trends, and process deviations to generate reports.
4. Identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits to ensure ISO 9001 and industry compliance.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen.
