Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will be based in Kuching and responsible for quantity take-off, cost estimation, and tender pricing for infrastructure projects, particularly road and bridge construction works.
Requirements
1. Minimum 3 years of working experience in infrastructure projects, especially road and bridge construction.
2. Experience in cost estimation, market enquiry, rate build-up, and tender pricing.
3. Familiarity with contract administration and variation order evaluation.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare and evaluate tender submissions, cost analysis, and budget control.
2. Carry out measurement and valuation of work done for interim payment claims and progress payment assessments.
3. Verify site quantities, prepare supporting documents, and coordinate with project teams on commercial matters.
4. Monitor project costs and assist in contract administration.
