Laras Jaya Construction Sdn Bhd, a growing infrastructure and property development contractor, is looking for a proactive QA/QC Engineer to be based in Kanowit, Sarawak. The role focuses on inspecting construction work and materials and ensuring that project quality requirements are met.
Requirements
1. Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Construction or site experience is an advantage.
3. Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and ISO 9001.
4. Able to read drawings and specifications.
5. Good communication and documentation skills.
6. At least 3 years of related field experience in civil and structural construction works.
Responsibilities
1. Inspect construction work and materials.
2. Ensure work follows drawings and specifications.
3. Prepare inspection reports and quality documents.
4. Monitor testing and quality standards.
5. Coordinate with contractors, consultants and site teams.
6. Ensure project quality requirements are met.
