Overview
PROJECT & PROGRAMME MATTERS SDN BHD (PPM), a Kuching-based project management consultancy (PMC) firm, is looking for a Project Architect to coordinate and oversee architectural matters for its projects.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
2. Registered with the relevant professional body (e.g. Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) as Inspector of Works).
3. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and authorities on all architectural matters.
2. Review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications and other project documentation.
3. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, statutory requirements, authority regulations, and industry standards.
4. Review consultant submissions, shop drawings, material samples, and technical proposals for compliance with project requirements.
5. Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
