Project Admin (M&E) / Quantity Surveyor

Overview NEXIMPACT M&E SDN BHD is a mechanical and electrical project contracting and engineering company based in Kuching. The company is looking for one Project Admin (M&E) / Quantity Surveyor to support tender documentation, project costing, site inspection and project administration work. Requirements 1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Quantity Surveying. 2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar construction (M&E), electrical or engineering industry. 3. Familiar with electrical drawings and systems is preferred. 4. Familiar with AutoCAD, Word, Excel and letter/email writing. 5. Resourceful and cost sensitive on project costing and procurement. 6. Independent, detail-oriented and good in interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. 7. Possess own transport. Responsibilities 1. Initiate and coordinate tender and quotation documentation preparation, site checks, quantity checking against drawings, price checks and compilation for submission. 2. Conduct site visits for inspection and liaise with project stakeholders such as main contractors, subcontractors and consultants. 3. Record and compile site events and logs together with photos. 4. Handle all project-related documentation and filing, both hardcopy and softcopy on the server, including material costing updates, progress claims, variation orders (VO) and general administration. 5. Prepare shop and as-built drawings for electrical and mechanical works using AutoCAD. 6. Source materials and suppliers for price comparison. 7. Carry out other works as assigned by the superior.
