Overview
Inforlink Advertising is looking for a Production Worker (Signboard) to join its production team in Kuching. The role involves assisting with signage and advertising material production, using tools and machinery safely and supporting installation teams when needed. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Requirements
1. No experience required; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
2. Experience in signage, advertising, metal fabrication, welding, construction, renovation or manufacturing is an advantage.
3. Able to use basic hand tools and machinery.
4. Able to read basic measurements and dimensions.
5. Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.
6. Willing to work at heights and outdoor sites when required.
7. Able to work overtime when necessary, especially during project deadlines.
8. Responsible, punctual, disciplined and willing to learn.
9. Able to work independently as well as in a team.
10. Good attitude and able to follow instructions.
11. Preferred Skills.
12. Welding / metal fabrication.
13. Acrylic & aluminium fabrication.
14. Signage installation.
15. LED / illuminated signage.
16. CNC / cutting machine operation.
17. Basic understanding of signage materials and production.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in the production and fabrication of signage and advertising materials.
2. Perform cutting, drilling, bending, welding, grinding, assembling and finishing work.
3. Handle materials such as aluminium, acrylic, PVC, stainless steel, aluminium composite panel and other signage materials.
4. Operate basic production tools, machinery and equipment safely.
5. Assist in LED, lightbox and illuminated signage preparation when required.
6. Follow production drawings, dimensions and instructions provided by the supervisor.
7. Ensure finished products meet the required size, quality and finishing standards.
8. Assist with packing, loading and unloading of signage and materials.
9. Assist the installation team during site installation when required.
10. Keep the production area, tools and equipment clean and organized.
11. Take proper care of company tools, machinery and materials.
12. Report damaged materials, production issues or incorrect measurements to the supervisor immediately.
13. Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.
