The Miller operates and adjusts milling machinery to achieve optimum flour extraction, consistent quality and production capacity at the Sejingkat Industrial Park plant in Kuching, Sarawak.
Requirements
1. Fresh Diploma graduate or minimum 1 year of experience in the flour milling industry.
2. UK Flour Millers (NABIM) Flour Certificate is an advantage.
3. Familiar with flour production processes, machinery, and food safety systems.
Responsibilities
1. Set and adjust mill parameters according to standard milling parameters.
2. Achieve optimum extraction and consistent targeted flour quality.
3. Operate and set parameters for wheat cleaning and conditioning processes.
4. Maintain targeted wheat/flour moisture, standard tempering time, and production capacity.
5. Report mechanical, technical, or electrical machinery malfunctions promptly.
6. Minimise downtime and ensure efficient and consistent mill operation.
7. Promote and comply with food safety and occupational safety requirements.
8. Support measures to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses, and incidents.
