MERCHANDISER - Kuching

Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations, minimize excess inventory, and track merchandise - Product Placement & Display: Build eye-catching displays and promotional stands for product launches or seasonal events - Shelf Replenishment: Unpack stock from outlet store or delivery lorry to keep shelves full and neat - Stock Rotation (FIFO): Use 'First In, First Out' method to place newer items behind older inventory to reduce waste and prevent product expiration - Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with store staff, buyers, and vendors - Reporting: Log daily inventory levels, damages, and consumer feedback; take photos of completed displays to submit to headquarters Requirements: - Minimum SPM or equivalent - Experience as a retail merchandiser - Must possess a valid driving license and own reliable transport (car) to travel daily between assigned retail outlets - Physically fit and capable of handling physical stock - Good work ethic, punctuality, and strong sense of responsibility Salary & Benefits will be discussed upon interview.
