GENCOM Engineering Sdn Bhd is looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Coordinator to design, develop and review piping systems for industrial projects. The role is based in Kuching, Sarawak and requires a Diploma in mechanical work and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Overview
We need a skilled piping engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, develop and review piping systems for industrial projects to ensure piping layouts and materials specifications.
Requirements
1. Minimum Diploma in mechanical work.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in a related field.
3. Able to understand supervision in a team at site.
4. Self-motivated candidates.
5. Able to design and sketch piping layouts.
6. Computer literate and knowledgeable in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and have own laptop.
7. Able to undertake site meetings and meet deadlines.
8. Implementation of contractor knowledge and drafting projects.
9. Possess own transport.
10. Preferably specialize in piping engineering work.
11. Good understanding of building regulations.
Responsibilities
1. Create and review piping layout diagrams (P&ID).
2. Make piping materials specifications.
3. Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to solve site queries.
4. Monitor all contractors' work progress daily.
