Internal Audit Executive

Overview Plan and conduct internal audits, including operational, financial, compliance and site-based audits, for a construction firm in Kuching, Sarawak. Requirements 1. Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related professional qualification. 2. Minimum 3 years of internal audit or related experience with strong knowledge of accounting, business processes and auditing standards. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and audit/data analytics tools. 4. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting. 6. Willing to travel and conduct site audits when required. Responsibilities 1. Plan and conduct internal audits (operational, financial and compliance) and site-based audits in accordance with the annual audit plan. 2. Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control, policies and procedures. 3. Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings, root causes and practical recommendations for improvement. 4. Follow up on audit findings and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. 5. Liaise with external auditors, regulators and relevant departments. 6. Maintain proper audit documentation and records. Location Kuching, Sarawak
