Interior Designer

Overview Rime Power Electrical Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is a contractor company focused on construction building, road, civil and structural works in the transmission line and substation. This Interior Designer role is based in Kuching and handles design concepts, drawings, site coordination and renovation project delivery. Requirements 1. Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 2. Experience in interior design or renovation is an added advantage. 3. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Enscape, Photoshop, or other relevant design software. 4. Good understanding of renovation works, construction details and materials. 5. Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. 6. Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently. 7. Willing to travel to project sites when required. 8. Possess own transport and a valid driving licence. Responsibilities 1. Develop interior design concepts based on clients' requirements and project brief. 2. Prepare space planning, layout plans, 2D drawings and 3D visualisations. 3. Prepare detailed drawings and design presentations for client approval. 4. Conduct site visits and take accurate site measurements. 5. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site workers during renovation works. 6. Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and design specifications. 7. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship. 8. Coordinate with the project team to resolve design and site-related issues. 9. Ensure materials, finishes and construction details are properly implemented according to the approved design. 10. Follow up on project progress and provide updates when required. 11. Assist in ensuring projects are completed according to the agreed timeline and quality standards. Location Kuching, Sarawak
