Overview
The Inspector of Works (Architectural) will be based in Belaga, Sarawak and will supervise architectural works, monitor workmanship quality, and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Requirements
1. Possess a Diploma or Certificate in Architecture/Building or equivalent qualification.
2. Registered as an Inspector of Works with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia.
3. Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in architectural works supervision, preferably with site experience in large-scale building projects.
4. Good knowledge of architectural details, materials, specifications, and quality standards.
5. Familiar with construction drawings, site inspection procedures, and report preparation.
6. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
7. Knowledge of BIM software (Autodesk Revit Architecture, Navisworks) will be an advantage.
8. Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
9. Able to work independently on site and liaise with consultants and contractors.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
2. Conduct site inspections and prepare reports.
3. Liaise with consultants, contractors, and construction team members.
