Overview
An established engineering consulting firm is seeking an Inspector of Work to be based in Limbang and Lawas. The role involves assisting the Assistant Resident Engineer in site inspection and documentation.
Requirements
1. Diploma qualification with a minimum 3 years of experience in supervision of C&S works (experience in Slope Protection works is preferred).
2. Registered with BEM as Inspector of Works.
3. Good communication skills, assertive and conversant with drawings and specifications.
4. Proficient in English, Microsoft Word and Excel.
5. Possess driving license.
Responsibilities
1. Assisting the Assistant Resident Engineer to vigilantly inspect on site development and ensure that work in progress meets the required specifications and quality standards.
2. Assisting the Assistant Resident Engineer to prepare detailed and accurate documentation of all works and onsite activities.
3. Fully support and advise all associated project teams during their reconnaissance.
