Housekeeping Supervisor - Kuching (Klinik Kesihatan Petra Jaya)

Overview Supervise general cleaning procedures and clinical waste management at a healthcare facility in Kuching. Responsibilities 1. Discuss general cleaning procedures and methods with staff/workers assigned to different areas/tasks; recommend and implement changes as needed. 2. Maintain and submit reports on cleaning activities, personnel, equipment, supplies and expenses on a routine basis. 3. Establish cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence. 4. Coach and develop employees (cleaners). 5. Schedule and assign specific duties/roles to cleaners and ensure they are carried out expertly. 6. Inspect cleaning equipment regularly to identify worn-out items and request replacements. 7. Control and monitor usage of cleaning materials to minimize waste and misuse. 8. Inform HOD of any customer negative/positive feedback. 9. Provide any required assistance to cleaners while carrying out duties. 10. Instruct subordinates to redo cleansing / clinical waste management activities not complying. 11. Reject expired cleansing chemicals. 12. Involved in clinical waste supervision. Qualifications 1. Minimum STPM or Diploma equivalent qualification. 2. Must have own transportation. 3. Strong communication skills (written & verbal). 4. At least 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping operations; supervisory experience is an advantage.
