Data Analyst

Overview Liansin Trading Sdn Bhd is hiring a Data Analyst to support business operations through data analysis, reporting, procurement and inventory support. The role is based at Bintawa Industrial Estate, Kuching. Responsibilities 1. Collect, compile, analyze and interpret company data to support business operations and decision making. 2. Liaise and coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. 3. Identify trends, discrepancies and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis. 4. Perform statistical analysis to support decision making. 5. Create dashboards and data visualizations using Excel, Power BI or related tools. 6. Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions. 7. Monitor data accuracy and ensure proper maintenance of company databases and reporting systems. 8. Present findings with data-driven insights and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner. 9. Source, evaluate and communicate with suppliers for rice and non-rice business operations. 10. Process purchase orders and monitor delivery timelines. 11. Maintain and update supplier database and procurement records. 12. Support procurement planning through analysis of purchasing trends and stock requirements. 13. Compile, evaluate, analyze and monitor stock levels for inventory planning and reporting. 14. Update and maintain inventory system accuracy. 15. Conduct regular stock reconciliation and report discrepancies. 16. Analyze inventory movement, stock turnover and stock availability to support operational efficiency. Requirements 1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems or a related field. 2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, procurement or inventory management is preferred. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, charts) and familiarity with inventory software. 4. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. 5. Ability to analyze reports using Power BI or Tableau. 6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 7. Monthly Salary. 8.
