CONTRACT MANAGER

Overview Pintaras (East Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Contract Manager to administer construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle in Kuching. The role covers contractual obligations, claims, variations, extension of time applications and commercial risk monitoring. Requirements 1. Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent. 2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in civil engineering. 3. Strong knowledge of construction contracts. 4. Familiar with variation orders, extension of time (EOT), claims, interim payments and final accounts. 5. Good understanding of contractual terms and project documentation. 6. Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors. Responsibilities 1. Manage and administer construction contractors throughout the project lifecycle. 2. Review and monitor contractual obligations, rights and deliverables. 3. Prepare, review and manage claims, variations, EOT applications and contractual notices. 4. Monitor project costs, payments, variations and commercial risks. 5. Review and verify subcontractor contracts, claims, invoices and supporting documents. 6. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
