KJ Builders Sdn Bhd is an engineering, consultancy, procurement, supplies and general contracting company serving government, corporate and private clients in Sarawak, Sabah and Labuan. We are looking for a Competent Electrical Person (Chargeman) to join our team at 7th Mile Kuching.
Requirements
1. Professional Certifications: Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Kategori A4 (Low Voltage with Overhead Lines and Generator Synchronization) Certificate of Competency or SESCO / EIU Sarawak Chargeman L3 (Generators) and L4 (Solar PV) certifications.
2. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a working Chargeman in an industrial plant, large commercial building, or solar farm.
3. Proven experience in troubleshooting complex electrical faults, generator synchronization failures, and solar inverter issues.
4. Strong knowledge of high-capacity Low Voltage protection relays and calibration.
5. High regard for occupational safety with valid First Aid / CPR certification.
6. Ability to work on an on-call basis for emergency breakdown response.
