Overview
Bormal Engineering seeks a Civil Technical Engineer to provide technical support, review drawings and coordinate engineering solutions in Kuching, Sarawak.
Requirements
1. Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 2 years of work experience.
3. Familiar with JKR standard specifications, design and codes of practice for civil engineering.
4. Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
5. Computer literate and familiar with MS Office application software and AutoCAD.
6. Working knowledge of construction methods, design coordination and constructability is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the Project/Construction Manager in technical coordination and engineering matters.
2. Review civil and structural drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
3. Coordinate with consultants, site teams and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
4. Work in a multidisciplinary team to evaluate tender technical and contract requirements.
5. Assist in evaluating tender drawings and specifications.
6. Assist in preparing tender technical documentation for submission.
