This role provides civil and structural engineering support, site supervision and technical coordination for construction projects in Kuching. Candidates should have a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 3 to 5 years of relevant site supervision experience.

Overview This position involves collaborating with architects and engineers on building design and construction, coordinating drawings and submissions, and supervising site works for a property developer's projects in Kuching. The role also ensures compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety regulations. Requirements 1. Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. 2. At least 3 to 5 years of relevant site supervision experience. 3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings and specifications. 4. Familiar with quality management systems, safety and statutory compliance. 5. Proven ability to manage site coordination and technical issues. 6. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) where applicable. 7. Possess a valid CIDB Green Card. 8. Language proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Spoken Mandarin is an advantage. 9. Possess own transport. Responsibilities 1. Collaborate with architects and other engineers on building design and construction. 2. Carry out materials selection, evaluate materials and determine the most efficient and cost-effective options for construction projects. 3. Coordinate with drafters to produce structural, foundation and reinforcement detail drawings using AutoCAD. 4. Prepare and submit design reports and blueprints to local authorities for building permits. 5. Assist in the preparation of technical specifications and material quantities. 6. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and contract requirements. 7. Review and endorse method statements, shop drawings and material submissions. 8. Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with codes, standards, approvals and safety requirements. 9. Liaise with architects, M&E engineers and surveyors to ensure the architectural layout integrates flawlessly with the structural framework. 10. Coordinate all construction activities. 11. Conduct routine site visits to ensure construction is executed exactly according to approved design specifications. 12. Supervise structural testing such as soil tests and concrete cube tests, resolve RFIs from contractors, and ensure all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards are met. 13. Identify defects, non-conformities and technical risks; ensure timely rectification. 14. Monitor progress, report technical constraints, and support progress claims, variations and EOT assessments. 15. Maintain site records, inspection reports and technical documentation. 16. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as delegated. Location Kuching
