Civil / Project Engineer

Overview MAGNA GLOW SDN. BHD. is an established construction company with a reputation as a reliable building and civil engineering contractor in Sarawak. It has capabilities to provide a wide range of diversified construction works by itself or through joint ventures with local and international contractors. Requirements 1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. 2. Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in the construction industry. 3. Candidates with experience in civil, infrastructure, building or related construction works will have an advantage. 4. Fresh graduates with relevant site exposure or internship experience are also encouraged to apply. 5. Willing to travel, visit project sites and be stationed at remote or outstation locations within Sarawak when required. 6. Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. 7. Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. 8. Able to work independently and as part of a project team. 9. Responsible, hardworking, adaptable and willing to learn. 10. Valid driving license and own transport will be an advantage. 11. Preferably Sarawakian. Responsibilities 1. Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at project sites. 2. Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. 3. Monitor site progress, workmanship and quality of construction work. 4. Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel. 5. Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues. 6. Conduct site inspections and maintain proper site records. 7. Prepare progress reports, measurements and project documentation. 8. Assist in planning and coordinating site activities to meet project schedules. 9. Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and company procedures. 10. Perform other project-related duties assigned by the management. Location Kuching, Sarawak
