Overview
Bormal Engineering seeks a Civil Project Engineer to coordinate, plan and manage civil construction works for impactful EPCC projects in Kuching, Sarawak.
Requirements
1. Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 2 years of work experience.
3. Familiar with JKR standard specifications, design and codes of practice for civil engineering.
4. Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
5. Computer literate and familiar with MS Office application software and AutoCAD.
6. Working knowledge of project management and coordination as well as ISO 9001 standard in the construction industry is an added advantage.
7. Experience in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
1. Assist the Project/Construction Manager in project management, site coordination and planning.
2. Engage in interfacing meetings with other engineering disciplines to ensure constructability.
3. Assist in preparation of monthly progress meetings and reports.
4. Work in a multidisciplinary team to evaluate tender technical and contract requirements.
5. Assist in preparing tender documentation for submission.
