Civil Engineering Draughtsperson - Kuching

Overview This full-time role supports the Engineering division of Aeroinfra Consult Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak. The Civil Engineering Draughtsperson will play a crucial role in preparing detailed engineering drawings and technical documents that support the design and implementation of civil engineering projects. Requirements 1. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline. 2. Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting or a similar technical role. 3. Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit or MicroStation. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and the engineering team. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 7. Familiarity with civil engineering standards, codes and regulations. Responsibilities 1. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, sketches and technical documents to support the design and implementation of civil engineering projects. 2. Assist engineers with technical calculations, data analysis and report preparation. 3. Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support. 4. Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations and best practices in civil engineering drafting. 5. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify process improvements and implement efficient workflows. 6. Provide mentoring and training to junior drafting personnel as required.
