Civil Engineer - Kuching

Overview Aeroinfra Consult Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join its dynamic team in Kuching, Sarawak. The Civil Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and implementation of infrastructure projects that shape the future of the community. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from aviation related projects and transportation networks to infrastructure developments. Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 2. Preferably 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably in a consulting or construction environment. 3. Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in civil engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MXRoad. 4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. 5. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams. 6. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. 7. Passion for delivering high-quality work and contributing to the success of the company. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. 9. Fresh graduates with excellent results and high CGPA scores are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities 1. Carry out project planning, civil engineering studies and relevant project management, particularly roads, drainage, water reticulation and related infrastructure works. 2. Conduct site visits, reconnaissance, visual inspections, preparation for survey works, soil investigations, and required laboratory testing to the requirements of project design. 3. Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for various civil engineering projects. 4. Prepare tender drawings, specifications and all required tender documents. 5. Oversee the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and clients, to deliver successful project outcomes. 7. Provide technical support and advice to project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. 8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
