BIM Modeller (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing)

Overview leading civil and structural engineering consultancy in Sarawak is expanding its team and seeking a skilled BIM Modeller (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) to join the Kuching office. Requirements 1. Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Drafting or a related field. 2. Proficient in Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD. 3. Experience with Navisworks or AutoCAD MEP is an advantage. 4. At least 2 years of MEP BIM Modelling experience preferred. 5. Detail-oriented and able to work independently. Responsibilities 1. Develop accurate 3D BIM models for MEP systems - HVAC / ductwork, plumbing and sanitary piping, fire protection, electrical (cable trays, conduits, lighting, power) and associated services. 2. Model and place mechanical and electrical equipment (pumps, chillers, AHUs, switchboards, transformers, generators, etc), including creating and managing Revit families where required. 3. Prepare detailed MEP construction drawings, schematics, schedules, and documentation. 4. Perform clash detection and coordinate MEP models against civil, structural and architectural disciplines (e.g. via Navisworks). 5. Collaborate closely with M&E engineers to implement design changes. 6. Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company standards.
