Overview
An established engineering consulting firm is seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Resident Engineer to be based in Limbang, Lawas and Mulu. The role involves leading a site supervision and QA/QC team and supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.
Requirements
1. Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years' experience in supervision of C&S works.
2. Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Proficient in English, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
5. Possess driving license.
Responsibilities
1. Lead a site supervision and QA/QC team in monitoring of works, detailed documentation of works and accurate reporting.
2. Work closely with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
3. Fully support and advise project teams during their reconnaissance.
4. Prepare report and attend site/project meetings.
5. Assist in resolving issues and disputes that arise during the construction process.
6. Conduct regular site inspection to monitor progress and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
