Assistant/Quantity Surveyor

Overview Jurutera Perunding Indah, a civil and structural engineering consultant firm based in Kuching, Sarawak, is seeking an Assistant/Quantity Surveyor to join its team. The role involves supporting tender and contract administration, cost estimation, budgeting and quantity surveying duties. Requirements 1. Diploma or Bachelor in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university. 2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in tender and contract documents administration, BQ preparation, cost estimate, cost control and budgeting. 3. Good knowledge and understanding of construction materials, pricing and the industry. 4. A team player who is committed, proactive, able to work independently with good time management, and able to deliver and meet deadlines under any circumstances. 5. Able to interact, coordinate and communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with relevant external and internal parties. 6. Self-motivated with problem-solving skills, a positive work attitude, responsible and trustworthy. Responsibilities 1. Administer tender and contract documents. 2. Prepare BQ, cost estimates, cost control and budgeting. 3. Coordinate and communicate with relevant external and internal parties.
