Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Senior Engineer to lead and manage project teams for housing and building development projects, ensuring completion within budget and compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements
1. Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
2. At least 8 years working experience in the construction sector with experience in building works.
3. Sound knowledge of different construction contracts, e.g. PWD or PAM contract.
4. AutoCAD, MS Office and MS Project skills.
5. Strong leadership, interpersonal, self-motivated, good coordination and communication skills.
6. Able to work under tight schedule.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the project team in coordination and management of housing and building development projects.
2. Manage all QA/QC requirements for the projects.
3. Monitor contracts and ensure completion of works within approved budget and timeline.
4. Monitor and review contractors' program, progress and deliverables.
5. Establish and control construction progress.
6. Ensure all technical and engineering aspects meet customers' and statutory requirements.
7. Coordinate all different tradesmen to ensure smooth implementation of works.
8. Be familiar with local authorities' practices and regulations pertaining to development approvals.
9. Ensure compliance with all laws governing property development and construction procedures.
