Overview
Responsible for monitoring project progress, coordinating contractors and ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and safety requirements for a construction company in Kuching.
Requirements
1. Diploma, Degree or Professional Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 2-8 years of relevant working experience. Fresh Graduate in Civil Engineering is encouraged to apply.
3. Experience in building construction projects is an added advantage.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other related software.
5. Good leadership, communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor project progress to ensure works are completed within the approved budget, quality standards and project schedule.
2. Coordinate, supervise and review contractors' work progress, programmes and deliverables.
3. Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements and statutory regulations.
4. Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
5. Ensure all technical, engineering and regulatory requirements are fulfilled throughout the project.
6. Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to Management.
