Assistant Merchandising Manager

Overview Central Coldstorage Kuching Sdn. Bhd. is an established company engaged in poultry farming, processing, trading and retailing. The Assistant Merchandising Manager will manage day-to-day merchandising and category-performance activities, focusing on product assortment, pricing, promotion planning, category sales, gross margin, stock productivity, new-product performance and merchandising execution across retail and wholesale channels. Requirements 1. Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline. 2. Category-management or retail-merchandising certification is an advantage. 3. Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in merchandising, category management, retail buying, FMCG, supermarket or a food-related business. 4. Minimum 1-2 years in a supervisory role is preferred. 5. Experience in the retail and wholesale food business is an advantage. 6. Experience managing multiple categories, branches or outlets is preferred. 7. Strong analytical and commercial ability. 8. Good leadership and coaching skills. Responsibilities 1. Manage the day-to-day merchandising and category-performance activities of the company. 2.
