Account Executive - Kuching

About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Executive to support our finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, assisting with financial reporting, managing daily accounting transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Maintain the general ledger and perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. - Prepare vouchers, debit notes, and credit notes. - Manage customer collections and supplier payments. - Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial schedules. - Support audit, tax, and statutory compliance requirements. - Maintain proper accounting records and documentation. - Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management. Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. - Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience. - Candidates pursuing or possessing professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Accuracy and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
