Account Assistant

Overview The Survey Shop (MYS) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Assistant to support daily accounting operations in Kuching, Sarawak. The role covers full set of accounts, data entry, payroll, bank reconciliation and month-end closing tasks. Requirements 1. At least minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting role. 2. Able to handle full set of account. 3. Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures, including data entry in any accounting software. 4. Must know UBS accounting software. 5. Experience in bookkeeping / issued and submit E-invoice (added advantage). 6. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word. 7. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Responsibilities 1. Update daily accounting records (AP/AR) in the accounting system. 2. Do payroll, staff claims, petty cash and payment vouchers. 3. Assist in bank reconciliation, checking statements and monitoring payments received/issued. 4. Support month-end closing tasks and liaise with external accountants/auditors when needed/required.
